First Aid Training With St Johns Ambulance!

Back in December the technicians and office staff took part in a First Aid training day carried out by St John’s Ambulance.

The day consisted of learning about the different scenarios mainly in a workplace where First Aid is likely to be needed. This included: recognising where First Aid is needed, the recovery position, how to treat burns, equipment that comes in a First Aid box, how to help someone who is choking,how to perform CPR and much more.

We were assessed by carrying out  practical and written assessments. I am happy to say that everyone who attended the training day passed and are now qualified First Aiders!
